We are looking for a well-organized site engineer with strong leadership skills to join our growing team. The site engineer's responsibilities include managing different parts of construction projects, supervising crew members, preparing estimates for time and material costs, completing quality assurance, observing health and safety standards, and compiling reports for different stakeholders. You should be able to work alongside various professionals and create work schedules that meet deadlines. Responsibilities:  Understand the Geosynthetics business plan  Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports  Issue a mandatory daily progress report of all activities carried out in the shift.  Overseeing construction work.  Site preparation.  Prepare and check technical designs and drawings for accuracy and ensure they are followed correctly.  Project management duties (e.g., managing budgets, resources, and deadlines; acquiring and compiling quotes, etc.)  Supervise contracted staff.  Engage manpower (Supervisors, laborers, helpers, etc) at different locations so that the productivity of work increases.  Calculate the quantities as per the site plan  Develop grading plans, cross sections, figures, and designs in AutoCAD Civil 3D.  Perform and document construction observation and construction quality assurance testing for geosynthetics or earthworks on large civil projects.  Ability to solve work problems and manage proposed plans or projects.  Preparing cost estimates to ensure appropriate materials and tools are available.  Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects.  Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required.  Observing health and safety standards.  Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contracts.  Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients.  Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the team Requirements:  Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, construction, or similar.  A good level of English language (technical writing and conversation)  Great written and verbal communication skills.  Candidate should have 2- 5 years’ experience on site.  Proficiency in design software like Civil 3D and AutoCAD.  Willingness to work within various industries and in different site projects.  Additional software such as Primavera is preferable  Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with high accuracy in calculations and design.  Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.  Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of professionals working on one project.  Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time.  A willingness to learn  Additional certificates or licenses may be required.  Accredited by the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) will be required.
