Job Description- QS 1) Prepare and Submit Interim Payments, Variations and necessitate required Cash Flow for the works. a) Finalize work progress and raise Interim Payment Application to the Client: evaluates actual work progress, prepares reports; and obtains estimates of work progress pending b) Prepares, submits and finalizes Variations. c) Evaluate and Certify Monthly Interim Payments for subcontractors. 2) Initiate Material Requisitions through Build smart, ensuring the costs are within the budget allocated. a) Review and allocate Activity/Ledger/resource Codes. b) Review Material Take Off for procurement. 3) Ensure Cost reporting to enable the Management be aware of the Project Cash Flow status. a) Prepare and monitor Monthly Cost Reports. b) Review interim CCS Candy Valuations. 4) Assist Contracts & Claims Department in submission of Claims by providing required information and drafting claims if required; attend subsequent workshops in finalizing the Claim. 5) Initiate and follow up Contractual correspondences with Client, Subcontractor. 6) PROCUREMENT: a) Reconciliation of Bulk Quantities b) Reviewing material usage and waste c) Identification and processing of sub-contractors / suppliers contra charges d) Liaise with the Storekeeper. 7) Assist the Head of QS and the Senior QS in mentoring and training subordinates with a view to career development, position improvement and commercial awareness.
