Engineering company is currently seeking a highly qualified "Senior Structural Design Engineer" to join our team at our main office in Amman. Location: Jordan Job Description: To plan and design the building structures and facilities. Applying standard design techniques, procedures, codes and criteria to make design adaptation and modifications. Performing a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard techniques or technical discipline for a project. Key Responsibilities: • Developing detailed designs • Undertaking complex and repetitive calculations • Managerial duties including monitoring project progress, client interviews, reports, official procedures and project documentation. • Follow up with Engineers, clients and authorities on work progress and approvals. • Resolving design and development problems • Managing budgets and project resources • Making sure the project complies with legal requirements • Assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects • Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time • Prepare the reports. • Prepare technical specifications for review and approval. • Reviewing and follow-up design drawings for an assigned project. • Site visits when needed and as required. • Performing other related duties as required. Qualifications: • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Civil Engineering • 5-10 years of progressive experience in Structural design, with a strong track record of successful project delivery. • Good knowledge of Jordanian and international codes. • Good knowledge of structural programs mainly ETABS and SAFE. • Good knowledge of drafting programs (AutoCAD, Revit ) • Problem-solving abilities and a deep understanding of design principles. • Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively across teams. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Arabic.
