A leading Consulting firm is seeking for PV Solar System design Engineers with minimum experience of 5 years. Developing and transforming design concepts, plans, and technical specifications and preparing PV Solar System project designs and detailed drawings using AutoCAD and other related design software tools according to set technical standards and project requirements. Job responsibility: • Using software tools to layout and optimize PV ground mounted systems • Performing electrical calculations (cable sizing, grounding studies, • Creating electrical single-line diagrams, panel schedules, or connection diagrams for solar electric systems, using computer-aided design (CAD)software • Performing PVSyst modeling for system production estimates • Developing optimal designs with SLD, PML, conduit and wire scheduling, routing and equipment plans, • Executing designs that adhere to grid compliance and permitting requirements • Compiling detailed bills of materials based on system specifications • Coordinating with management team to develop complete proposal packages • Working with business development, project management, and installation teams to meet client’s needs and internal design standards. • All other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from accredited program. Minimum 5 years of professional experience performing solar engineering required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written & verbal communication skills (English). Previous internship and/or related consulting experience preferred. In additional, candidates should have experience with the following: • Electrical distribution systems • PVSyst • AutoCAD • Ability to work collaboratively with others (Project Managers, Engineers and Designers both in Mumbai and United States) to resolve design or drawing issues as appropriate and to accomplish objectives. • Ability to independently complete required design • Ability to independently perform power optimization studies using PV Syst to meet client requirements or propose feasible options for any given site.
