Job Title: Civil Site Engineer Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. • Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years of experience in the construction of water supply, wastewater, irrigation, or Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) networks. • Good knowledge of pipeline construction, including excavation, bedding, pipe laying, backfilling, pressure testing, and reinstatement works. • Familiarity with ductile iron (DI), HDPE, PVC, and GRP pipes, fittings, valves, and related appurtenances. • Basic understanding of QA/QC procedures, HSE requirements, and applicable construction standards. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and shop drawings. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is an advantage. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken). Key Responsibilities • Supervise daily site activities and ensure construction is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements. • Coordinate and monitor excavation, pipe installation, bedding, backfilling, testing, and reinstatement works. • Verify line and level, pipe alignment, and installation quality before inspection. • Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections, material approvals, and testing activities. • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and promote safe working practices on site. • Coordinate with subcontractors, surveyors, and other project disciplines to ensure smooth execution of the works. • Prepare daily progress reports, site records, and quantity measurements. • Monitor productivity, identify site issues, and report progress and constraints to the Project Manager.
