.Logistics and operations supervisor with minimum 5 years of experience in the same field. Major Duties & Responsibilities 1. Implement Company logistics policies and procedures for both projects. 2. Oversee the transportation for the school students and coordinate all transportation needs with the transportation officer, manage all warehousing operations, and distribution of goods from vendors to beneficiaries. 3. Work with the Project Manager to maintain and progress the procurement plan for the life of the project, and oversee timely and efficient implementation of activities in accordance with the procurement plan. 4. Maintain a procurement requests tracking system and provide regular updates to the Project Manager. 5. Evaluate and analyze received goods by vendor as required to determine best value. 6. Assist in the selection of appropriate suppliers requested by the beneficiaries. 7. Track Company assets and inventory by tagging all assets and conducting regular inventory checks. 8. Ensure safe and efficient transport of staff and materials/goods. 9. Supervise, train, and develop Logistics Officer knowledge. 10. Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date logistics files and inventory system and documentation. 11. Liaise with the Finance team to ensure that all procurement documentation is conducted in accordance with The company policies and donor regulations. 12. Monitor and operate the barcoding system for all camps warehouses for both projects 13. Other duties assigned the project manager.
