❖ Oversee project management processes for IT projects. ❖ Support implementation of projects via in-house staff. ❖ Assist in the development and maintenance of schedules and budgets. ❖ Identify, manage, and mitigate risk. ❖ Conduct and manage quality control. ❖ Develop and provide professional, technical, and quality direction as well as guidance. ❖ Plan, manage, and lead Stage Gate meetings to ensure key stakeholders review/approve artifacts and development work before the team moves to the next SDLC work cycle. ❖ Track status and report regularly to FDA and DRT senior level management. ❖ Coordinate reoccurring and ad-hoc, non-technical data calls. ❖ Assist with other ad-hoc requests from clients such as building presentation decks, creating talking points. ❖ Build agendas and conduct ongoing program status meetings with staff and other stakeholders as required. ❖ Handle competing needs of multiple clients and manage relationships with key stakeholders across the FDA. ❖ Track action items, risks, and issues. ❖ Develop process for and drive lessons learned for each software release. ❖ 3+ years of Project management experience, 7+ years of overall IT experience. ❖ Project Management Software Skills (i.e. MS Project, MS EPM). ❖ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. ❖ Exposure to resource planning and risk mitigation. ❖ Skills to develop strong partnerships with technology and business leaders. ❖ Leads effort to resolve project conflicts and establish appropriate resolution paths. ❖ Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. ❖ Mentor individuals in best practices for planning and execution. ❖ Knowledge of SDLC, PMBOK guide, waterfall, and agile methodologies. ❖ Experience managing project budgets. ❖ Experience developing SOWs and other acquisition related documents. ❖ Background in client service positions. ❖ High level of professionalism, patience, and maturity. ❖ Ability to work in fast-paced environments and ambiguous circumstances. ❖ Ability to multitask effectively. ❖ Demonstrable initiative.
