Location: Amman, Jordan Position Overview The Material Engineer will be responsible for selecting, testing, evaluating, and approving construction materials used across our projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, design engineers, and site teams to ensure that material specifications align with project requirements, codes, and standards. Key Responsibilities • A relevant engineering background with proven experience in material testing and evaluation. • Strong knowledge of construction materials (concrete, steel, asphalt, etc.). • Experience with material testing and quality control procedures. • Familiarity with international standards (ASTM, ACI, ISO, etc.). • Ability to prepare technical reports and support project teams in material-related issues. • Support sustainability initiatives by identifying and recommending eco-friendly and cost-effective material alternatives. • Provide technical support and training to site and project personnel. Qualifications & Skills Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, or a related field • Minimum 3-7 years of experience in material engineering. • within the construction industry is a Plus. • Strong knowledge of construction materials (concrete, steel, asphalt, geotechnical materials, etc.). • Experience with laboratory and field-testing methods and equipment.
