Recently we are looking for a leader who has big ideas that can embrace our vision to be one of the top 10 in PV Solar manufacturing technology. Job Summary Handling of our MASDAR c-Si PV Solar Modules Factory Project (including setup of state-of-the-art in-house Testing Facility) – from conceptual design, planning, detailed design & engineering, project management , procurement of equipment/production lines, construction to final installation, testing, commissioning, start up, put into service and post project operation & maintenance including coordination and Integration with our Civil and Infrastructure Consultant, main contractor, subcontractor, suppliers and agencies involved in the project such that to meet project milestones and completion of project on time. Main Duties & Responsibilities: (i) Setup of c-Si PV Solar Modules Factory • Directed, managed and implemented the setup( from scratch), and operation of MASDAR c-Si PV Solar Modules Fully Automated Production Facility in KSA including but not limited to setup of in-house testing facility, design of warehousing and storage area, raw material selection and supply chain management, onshore and offshore training of the staff. • Identification, validation and selection of c-Si PV Solar modules manufacturing equipment/production lines and their operationalization. • Identification, validation and selection of components for c-Si PV Solar modules manufacturing. • Responsible for Solar Product Certification including IEC, TUV and UL Certification of MASDAR c-Si PV Solar modules. • Designed, directed and developed strategic manufacturing plans to achieve company objectives. • Developed, planned and implemented systems, processes and procedures to ensure manufacturing targets and performance goals are met and drive initiatives for continuous improvement. • Implemented and developed Quality Concepts and Quality Tests. • Responsible for equipment/production line selection and module line layout design • Responsible for the operation & maintenance of c-Si PV Solar module manufacturing automatic machines. • Responsible for planning, manufacturing, quality management and timely completion of the manufacturing order(s). (ii) Project Execution • Studying and understanding project scope of work. • Developed best practices and tools for project execution and management. • Developing and managing cash flow budget of the assigned project and achieving stand – alone financial sustainability during project execution • Completing post order of assigned project till Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC). • Managing and directing necessary drawings as per the contract and follow up till getting approvals. • Coordination with authorities, and agencies for necessary clearances and work permits required, if any. • Planning for resources for project activities – within in-house resources, and Business Units or through outsourcing. • Selection of equipment manufacturers, main contractors, subcontractors, finalization of scopes and prices, and freezing the scope (if needed) in consultation with Supply Chain Dept. • Coordination with all stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of project. • Maintaining highest standard levels for quality and safety and making sure that they are strictly followed at site without any deviation to meet company policy. • Making a bar chart of all activities with time schedule till final project execution. • Follow up with manufacturing for timely delivery and coordinate for inspection, logistics, and after sales service (if needed) accordingly. • Setup site and arranging resources for each site activity. • Ensuring safety of Main Equipment at site such as during unloading, shifting and erection. • Following up all the site activities and coordination with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and manufacturers. • Successful and timely execution of project. (iii) Team Management • Responsible for staff scheduling to include work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations. • Coached and provided career development advice to staff and assisted them to resolve complex or out of policy operation problems to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Minimum Requirements • B.E. Electrical or Electronics Engineering • 15-20 years of experience in c-Si PV Solar Modules manufacturing including at least the experience of the startup of one project from scratch, with at least 5 years proven track record experience in a similar position in one of the leading c-Si PV Solar Modules manufacturers in South Asia. • Previous experience in any of the hereinafter listed areas will be considered as an asset:  Design and Engineering of Solar PV power plants, BOQ preparation, costing and installation and commissioning of Power plant  Roof top solar power systems design, procure and installation.  Solar water pump systems design, procure and installation.  Solarization of Mobile communication Towers.  mspfom01@masdarsolar.sa
