Job Purpose: To sell and promote energy solutions based products Accountabilities 1. Sell and promote all energy solutions based products. 2. Interface directly with customer base (End-users, EPCs, OEMs) 3. Develop, co-ordinate, and conduct growth activities. 4. Develop existing customers and generate new potential (key) customers. 5. Work closely with engineering consultants to identify and evaluate customers’ project needs and specifications. 6. Develop, recommend and implement specific market strategy decisions and growth. 7. Operational responsibility for orders booking, margin and business metrics 8. Develop competitive, customer and supplier analysis 9. Collaborating with global engineering resources to develop solutions for design issues from an engineering and materials perspective 10. Applying knowledge of structural energy requirements, local climates, solar technology, and thermodynamics 11. Performing site-specific engineering analysis or evaluation of energy efficiency and solar projects involving residential, commercial, or industrial customers 12. Using knowledge of power electronics to identify opportunities and secure new energy solutions based business from both existing and new customers to deliver company growth targets 13. Develop, identify and assess technical and financial solutions for customers' energy efficiency needs 14. Work cross-functionally across the enterprise to identify key influencers, define gaps in products or services, and develop and implement the necessary tools to capitalize on opportunities. 15. Develop, update and execute a regional penetration plan 16. Effectively develop and deliver product sales & services seminars 17. Work closely with sales managers and manufacturing representatives to ensure that high levels of quality and service are delivered in the territory. 18. Stay abreast of new technology, market developments, appropriate standard societies, and competitor offerings. Report trends and developments to appropriate sales, marketing, and management personnel. 19. Support new product releases and new/adjacent account development. Technical Skills 1. Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering, good experience in PV system 2. (5+ Years) working in a specification based industry and engineering experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3. Excellent presentation and communication skills in addition to Technical Knowledge. 4. Strong people skills, which allow person to build a favorable rapport quickly with others. 5. Ability to think outside of the box to present scenarios, which will differentiate him from the competition. 6. Ability to overcome objections or negatives. 7. Must be a closer. 8. Work well under pressure.
